FY'18- Industry Awareness Training Grant Program - Grants available to attend the 2017 AATIA Seminar in Laughlin - Sept. 11-15, 2017
Under the Industry Awareness program, the AATA is soliciting grant applications from Arizona Law Enforcement agencies to receive and conduct training for the scrap metal & automobile recycling/dismantling industry to ensure compliance with all local/state/federal law.
Grant applications submitted thru web-portal - AATA funding grants for Seminar registration ($275 - Other Operating Expenditures, Conference/Seminar Registration) and 4 night hotel stay - In State Travel - ($34.99 + tax ($4.37) per night = $39.36 x 4 nights = $157.44. Double occupancy for rooms unless gender issues prevail. Currently, no mileage or per diem requests will be funded.

FY'18 Public Awareness and Law Enforcement Grants may be submitted after July 1, 2017 for presentation at a future 2017/2018 AATA Board meeting. The AATA has limited funding available for these Grant Programs; please see Grant Requirements above and/or contact staff for additional information or project proposals. Metal (Industry) Awareness Grants may be submitted at any time.

AATA Grant Requirements -
For NEW Grant Requests - Complete an online application through AATA’s Grant database web-portal. Include as attachments Project plan, equipment estimates and other supporting documentation. The AATA grant approval process may be delayed if these requirements are not met. The Project plan should include the following:
